I have been working in the Entertainment and Multi-Media industry for the past 30 years. Since 2005 I have headed the Post Production department of DreamWorks Animation, New York office, which is now under the NBC-Universal umbrella of companies.
My main function at NBC Universal/DreamWorks Animation was to oversee the creation of all master materials, which would serve our distribution needs to broadcasters throughout the United States and Worldwide. With an eye on budget and spending concerns I immediately instituted new cost saving procedures saving the company thousands of dollars in my first year.
Prior to this I worked with Classic Media whose library of shows are a legacy of classic programming and one of the challenges was to keep it fresh and up to date to today’s broadcast standards. This being the case, restoration was one of my primary duties. My roots in the film industry was invaluable in this process.
Additionally, I saw to the needs of all of the central department heads of the company, these being Home Video, Licensing, Production, Public Relations and Sales. Some of my duties were creating promos, clip reels, TV spots, EPK’s, DVD extras, etc. Within this range of work I have recorded live performers, organized video crews and over saw thousands of hours of post production work.
Prior to working at Classic Media I ran my own production company here in NYC, working with Advertising, Industrial and Broadcast clients. This experience has laid down the basis of my overall working knowledge of the film and broadcast industry. It has also given me the opportunity to work along many industry professionals in all aspects of the business.
Being a very project oriented person I thrive on challenges and or deadlines.
